$45/hr | 1 year contract
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team, focusing on the insurance side of the business. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects that enhance our operations, improve member experiences, and align with our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of insurance-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across departments (e.g., underwriting, claims, policy services) to define project objectives, requirements, and success criteria.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing issues to minimize impact.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and streamline current workflows to enhance efficiency and support organizational goals.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to meet project deliverables.
- Reporting & Metrics: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and performance metrics to communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all projects adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, and policy management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
